Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships Information Event
The experience sharing event for researchers who want to apply for the Horizon Europe Programme Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 call was held at our Ayazağa campus on May 31.

An information event was jointly organized by ITU Projects and Commercialization Management Office, Marie Curie Alumni Association, TÜBİTAK and METU at Disaster Management Institute Remzi Ülker Conference Hall on May 31, 2024, for researchers who want to apply for the Horizon Europe Programme Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 call.
During the sessions of the one-day event, tips and detailed information on project writing were shared, and participants’ questions were answered by experts. At the opening of the event, our Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfiye Durak Ata made a speech to the participants. TÜBİTAK MSCA Actions National Contact Point Şeyma Sayımlar made a presentation on Horizon Europe Programme MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships.
Panel discussion on tips for fellowship applications
At the event, a panel discussion was held on issues to be considered when applying for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Atalay, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alper Gürarslan and Dr. Murat Güneş, who have previously conducted MSCA projects; Dr. Tuğçe Katipoğlu Yazan and Dr. Yeliz Gürdal Durgun, who are currently conducting MSCA projects; and Dr. Irene Carlos, who is an expert evaluator for MSCA, participated in the panel and shared their experiences with the participants.
As part of the event, Dr. Tuğçe Katipoğlu Yazan, who is conducting an MSCA project at our university, made a presentation on issues to be considered in project applications, after which Elifnaz Unay from the Yıldız Technical University EURAXESS Service Center made a presentation introducing the EURAXESS Network.
In the final session, Dr. Pavlo Basilinskyy from the Netherlands Marie Curie Alumni Association made a presentation on “How to Use Artificial Intelligence in Research?”
