TÜBİTAK Scholarship to Our Research Assistant

ITU Department of Geophysical Engineering research assistant Ceyhun Erman was entitled to receive “2214-A PhD Research Fellowship” given by TÜBİTAK.

Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Mines, Department of Geophysical Engineering research assistant Ceyhun Erman was entitled to conduct scientific activities in Italy with 2214-A PhD Research Fellowship given by TÜBİTAK.

Within the scope of the scholarship he received, Res. Asst. Erman, who is pursuing his doctoral studies under the supervision of ITU Faculty of Mines, Department of Geophysical Engineering faculty member Prof. Dr. Seda Yolsal Çevikbilen, will conduct studies concerning his project titled “Analysis of Crustal Anisotropy along the East Anatolian Fault Zone with Shear Wave Splitting and Ambient Noise Cross-Correlation Methods” at the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.
