Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Days at ITU

Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Days was held at ITU Ayazağa Campus SDCC on February 15-16, 2024 with the participation of experts and representatives of the sector’s leading companies.

Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Days, organized for the 11th time this year by Istanbul Technical University Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Club, brought together prospective engineers with experienced names of the sector at ITU Ayazağa Campus Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center. At the event, which was held with the participation of competent representatives of leading institutions and companies in the fields of shipbuilding and marine technologies, the future of shipbuilding and ship machinery was addressed.

In the panels held during the program, various current topics in the field from offshore drilling technology to floating power plants, from shipbuilding and shipyard processes to military ships and military autonomous boats were discussed in the light of the ideas and knowledge of experts. Following the day-long event, the latest technological developments were shared with the participants at the stands of the leading shipping companies in the SDCC’s foyer area.
