Best Paper Award to Our Student

Faculty of Electrical and Electronics PhD student Ege Engin was awarded the “TSP Best Student Paper Award” for the article he wrote with Prof. Dr. Hakan Ali Çırpan and Dr. İbrahim Hökelek.

ITU members continue to achieve international success with their scientific research. Our PhD student Ege Engin received the best paper award at the “46th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing”.

“Best Student Paper Award” was given to the paper prepared by Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics PhD student Ege Engin, together with Prof. Dr. Hakan Ali Çırpan, who is also his thesis supervisor, and Dr. İbrahim Hökelek.

The award winning article “Resource Allocation of eMBB and URLLC Traffic using Pre-emption Mechanism” studies “resource allocation for jointly considering the requirements of eMBB and URLLC services, where codeblock group-based transmission and preemption mechanisms in 5G NR standards are utilized”.
