ITU Ranks First in Graduate Employment
Kariyer.net, one of Türkiye’s largest employment platforms, published the latest version of Employer Interest Index. According to the results, ITU is one of the universities in Türkiye whose graduates find jobs most easily.

Istanbul Technical University continues to be one of the most preferred universities with the assurance given by its two and a half centuries of history. Kariyer.net, one of Türkiye’s largest employment platforms, published the latest version of Employer Interest Index. The index, which is an important source for university preferences, revealed graduates of which universities and departments find jobs more easily.
Established and powerful institutions rely on graduates of established and powerful universities like themselves for jobs. Choosing a university is very important in determining the future of students. For this reason, Kariyer.net analyzed the preferences of 486 thousand employers who posted current job advertisements in order to provide a guide for students on choosing a university. By matching all the data with the information in the résumés of the candidates, it revealed the Employer Interest Index, which contains comprehensive information.
ITU Computer Engineering ranks first in employers’ preference
According to the Employer Interest Index, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) has become one of the ten universities in Türkiye in whose graduates employers show the most interest, with a rate of 76.1 percent. Computer Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University ranked first in the list of universities and departments most preferred by employers with a rate of 89.5 percent.
Other ITU departments included in the list of 20 universities and departments in whose graduates employers show the most interest are Industrial Engineering with 76.7 percent, Mathematical Engineering with 75.8 percent and Management Engineering with 70.8 percent.
