İTÜ Graduate Successful Businesspersons Shared Their Experiences

Istanbul Technical University, Corporate Relations and Alumni Communication Office brought together CEO’s who impress with their success in their career journeys within the framework of “İTÜ Alumni Talks: Those Who Build the Future of the Business World” program. Our graduates shared their experiences in business life and their insights about the future.

This week’s guests of İTÜ Corporate Relations and Alumni Communication Office “İTÜ Alumni Talks” program were 1988 İTÜ Civil Engineering graduate, Teknosa CEO Bülent Gürcan and 1994 İTÜ Control and Computer Engineering graduate, Logo Software CEO M. Buğra Koyuncu.

 

In the meeting held online on İTÜ’s social media accounts, our graduates answered the questions of İTÜ Faculty of Electrical and Electronics faculty member Assist. Prof. Dr. Derya Ahmet Kocabaş and gave advice to students and new graduates of İTÜ based on their experiences on their career paths.

 

In the program, assessments were made about the effects of the global pandemic experienced in 2020 on business life and how it will shape business life in 2021.

 

LOGO Software CEO M. Buğra Koyuncu discussed the efforts of companies to keep up with the digital transformation trend and its reflections in the future. Teknosa CEO Bülent Gürcan talked about the effects of the digital transformation on the retail sector.

 

Our graduates summarized their success as working continuously, being in contact and being open to new ideas. They advised the students to deal with sports and arts, to learn foreign languages and manage their relations with people alongside engineering courses. Our graduates shared memories of their student days with longing and ended with an engaging conversation about the changes and transformations they underwent in their business lives.
