TÜBİTAK STAR (Trainee Researcher Program) Scholarship Announced

Istanbul Technical University was included with 57 projects in STAR Scholarships run by TÜBİTAK Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes (BİDEB).

Istanbul Technical University was accepted with 57 projects for STAR scholarships given to projects carried out at TÜBİTAK Center and Institutes or supported by TÜBİTAK.

TÜBİTAK Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes (BİDEB) conducts supportive and encouraging programs in order to contribute to the national technology move and the development processes of qualified human resources needed for this through the production of science-based knowledge and technology.Within the scope of this call, it is aimed that undergraduate students take part in scientific research projects alongside their education by observing the rules of scientific ethics and develop their creativity, engineering, problem solving and intellectual skills. In this context, scholarships are granted to undergraduate students who take part/will take part in research projects carried out in TÜBİTAK Center and Institutes or supported by TÜBİTAK.

 A total of 1901 projects were supported under the scholarship, while 4501 researchers were awarded scholarships within the scope of these projects.
