ITU Interfaculty Volleyball Tournament Ended

Interfaculty Volleyball Tournament, organized for the 250th anniversary of ITU, ended with the final match held on May 8, 2024.

ITU Interfaculty Volleyball Tournament, organized for the 250th anniversary of the establishment of Istanbul Technical University (ITU), ended with the final match held at ITU Ayazağa Campus, Central Sports Hall on May 8, 2024. In the tournament that started on February 20, 2024, 13 faculties in the men’s category and 11 faculties in the women’s category took part.

In the final of the long-running championship struggle, Faculty of Textile Technologies and Design won the first prize in the women’s category, while Faculty of Civil Engineering and Faculty of Electrical-Electronics won the second and third places, respectively. In the men’s category, Faculty of Mines won the first prize, while Faculty of Science and Letters and Maritime Faculty won the second and third prizes, respectively.

In the men’s category, Faculty of Mines student Buğra Erdoğan achieved double success by winning the “top scorer award” and the “most valuable player award”. In the women’s category, Faculty of Electrical-Electronics student Lal İzem Özgür won the “top scorer award” and Güneş Azra Düvek won the “most valuable player award”.
