From the Skies to the Depths of the Seas: TEKNOFEST Returns to the Blue Homeland!
The maritime reflection of the National Technology Initiative vision comes to life once again under the theme of “Blue Homeland” (Mavi Vatan). Taking place on 20–23 August 2026 at the Gölcük Naval Shipyard Command, TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland will bring technology enthusiasts together for a special event spotlighting maritime and underwater technologies.

As the world’s largest aerospace and technology festival, TEKNOFEST carries the National Technology Initiative vision from land to sea, reuniting technology and defence industry enthusiasts around a maritime focus this year under the Blue Homeland
theme. Held for the first time in Istanbul last year, TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland generated tremendous excitement with its rich programme spanning domestically developed marine vessels, underwater technologies, competitions, and high turnout — leaving
a lasting impression as a powerful reflection of Türkiye’s rising national technology drive across its seas.

This year, TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, organised on 20–23 August under the principal coordination of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Defence and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), and hosted by the Gölcük
Naval Shipyard Command, aims to bring Türkiye’s maritime strength and advanced technological capabilities together with younger generations, building a strong future vision around domestic and national technologies.
The spirit of the sea meets innovative technologies at TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland!
At this special event, stretching from the depths of the seas toward the horizon of the future, young minds will turn their dreams into technology through the Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition, the Underwater Rocket Competition, and the Unmanned
Surface Vehicle Competition. Aspiring young engineers and entrepreneurs will help shape Türkiye’s maritime future through the projects they develop. Throughout the event, TEKNOFEST’s partner institutions will also take their place
in the exhibition area, both showcasing their work and engaging with visitors.
Among the events to be organised specifically for the Blue Homeland at TEKNOFEST are: exhibitions where the Navy’s flagship vessels can be visited, virtual reality gaming zones that can be experienced with VR glasses, competitions designed to keep
maritime culture alive, dedicated areas where visitors can take souvenir photos, SAT, SAS and naval aviation unit demonstrations, experience areas reflecting maritime history, as well as many other events.
