ITU has added another international achievement to its list with a project partnership covering the United Kingdom. ITU and the University of Southampton's joint application for the British Council-Transnational Education TNE (Transnational Education) 2025 grant has been successfully granted.
Under the TNE grant supporting transnational education partnerships between the United Kingdom and Türkiye, the project “Building a Joint MSc in Energy and Sustainability to Support Global Decarbonisation through Transnational Higher Education” will be implemented.
With the project funding secured, joint graduate programs will be developed in the areas of renewable energy and infrastructure, which are among the most critical global needs of the future. Furthermore, through this partnership, the aim is to establish a roadmap and knowledge base for numerous joint research opportunities, including European Union funds, British Council grants, and the Royal Society Newton International program.
