Bronze Medal for the Turkish Sustainable Aviation Platform (TSAA), of Which ITU is Among the Founding Members

The Turkish Sustainable Aviation Platform (TSAA), established in cooperation between ITU, Boeing, and Turkish Airlines, won a bronze medal in the “Most Effective Sustainability Partnership” category at the 2025 Stevie Awards.

The prestigious international Stevie Awards program, which recognizes excellence in business, innovation, leadership, and sustainability, awarded the Turkish Sustainable Aviation Platform (TSAA) a bronze medal in the “Most Effective Sustainability Partnership” category.

The Turkish Sustainable Aviation Platform (TSAA) was launched in 2023 by ITU, Boeing, and Turkish Airlines. Operating with an interdisciplinary approach and collaboration towards the goal of 100% sustainable aviation by 2030, TSAA contributes to Türkiye's green transformation with its 29 members today.

TSAA continues its efforts to advance the decarbonization journey and sustainability transformation in the Turkish aviation sector under the following headings, to facilitate collaborations for sustainable aviation, and to develop mutual projects:

• Development of domestic Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production
• Improving energy efficiency and carbon emission management
• Strengthening regulations and the compliance process across the ecosystem
