TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland Offers Participants the Opportunity to Explore the Spirit of Maritime Firsthand!

Visitor registration has begun for TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, which will be held at the Istanbul Naval Shipyard Command on August 30-31 as part of TEKNOFEST 2025. Admission is free, and the event will bring Türkiye's maritime power and advanced technological competence to young people, carrying maritime culture into the future.

Focusing on maritime and underwater technologies, TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland will feature the Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition, the Underwater Rocket Competition, and the Unmanned Surface Vehicle Competition.

At TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, ITU's project teams ROV, AUV, ASTeam, and Sungur Rocket are competing. Besides, our student Uzay Vefa Altın participated in the Blue Homeland Essay Competition.

As part of TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, the Turkish Navy's most popular ships will be on display, including the TCG Anadolu, TCG İstanbul, TCG Burgazada, TCG Oruçreis, TCG Nusret, TCG Sakarya, and TCG Hızırreis. Visitors will also have unforgettable moments with a variety of exciting events, including competitions aimed at fostering maritime culture, interactive game areas that can be experienced with virtual reality headsets, special performances by SAT and SAS Command personnel, a "Blue Homeland Time Tunnel" event reflecting maritime history, and various conferences and exhibitions.

To enter TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, which is completely free, visitors must register online. Participation is limited, and individual tickets must be issued for each participant. There is no registration requirement for children under 7.

Visits will take place in three separate sessions throughout the day:

Session 1: 09:00 – 12:00

Session 2: 12:00 – 15:00

Session 3: 15:00 – 18:00

Each visitor will be granted entry to only one session during registration, and visitors who enter the area at the designated session time will not be able to attend other sessions on the same day. You can find all details about visitor registration and the event at www.teknofest.org.

Visitors can enter and exit the event area between 09:00 AM and 06:00 PM. Visitors with an account on Next Sosyal, Türkiye's local and national social media platform developed by the T3 Foundation and young entrepreneurs participating in TEKNOFEST, will receive priority entry if the phone number or email address they provide during registration matches their Next Sosyal account.
