ITU Platform Project Applications Are Now Open!

Continuing to strengthen its research ecosystem, Istanbul Technical University has launched the ITU Platform Project Program for the first time this year, in line with its vision of being a “Responsibility and Impact-Oriented Research University.” Applications are open from August 1 to October 1, 2025!

As a new step toward enhancing the research ecosystem together with its academics, students, and stakeholders, Istanbul Technical University has initiated the ITU Platform Project Program.

Developed to contribute to Türkiye’s scientific capacity, the ITU Platform Project Program will be reinforced through university-industry-public collaborations. Young researchers will be at the heart of the projects. Through this program, research processes will be shaped by active student participation and a focus on societal impact.

• Support up to 7.5 million TL
• Participation of at least 3 different units, or 2 different units and 1 external stakeholder
• At least 1 student project (LÖKAP A/T or 2209 A/B)
• At least 1 project focused on societal impact and sustainability
• Collaboration or support from industry/public/NGO
• Minimum target of 4 technological outputs at THS 4 level
• Goals for patents and high-impact publications
