ITU Preference and Promotion Days aims to answer all the questions of students at ITU Ayazağa Campus between July 20 and August 2, 2024. The Preference and Promotion Days, held under the consultancy of academics who are experts in their fields, aims to guide students who will make a preference with respect to the content of the departments that provide education in various fields from basic sciences to engineering, from artificial intelligence to cyber security.
Istanbul Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu emphasized that ITU Preference and Promotion Days provides a qualified consultancy service where prospective students get information on the topics they wonder about and expressed the following:
“With the Preference and Promotion Days, we not only aim to promote our university, which is Türkiye’s most established engineering education institution, but we also provide young prospective students with the opportunity to form their first impression of the university environment they will step into. Our main goal is to support prospective students in choosing the right profession that they will love to do in the future... The service provided here is a kind of career counseling service... Because our country needs young people who love their profession, care about their career and, most importantly, do their job with inner peace and pleasure.”
ITU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Şule Itır Satoğlu stated that they are meticulously trying to share the most accurate data and reliable information with prospective students with the emphasis “Be an ITU Student!” during the 2024 preference period and expressed the following:
“It is an important dream of every young person to receive university education in a field compatible with their talents and interests. This counseling event, held within the scope of the preference period, supports candidates in this regard and aims to help them walk on the path they dream of. We carry the individual and academic success of students who prefer ITU to a different dimension with the synergy of business-oriented initiatives.”
