Istanbul Technical University (ITU) crowns its efforts under the motto of transforming the future with its achievements in the field of artificial intelligence. At the launch of the Artificial Intelligence Factory Program, which operates under Türkiye İş Bankası’s New Generation Entrepreneurship Business Line, made in September, the initiatives deemed worthy of support as a result of the 1st Cohort (Jury Evaluation Days) were announced. Half of the artificial intelligence initiatives to be supported were initiatives founded by ITU academics and graduates.
Our faculty members Prof. Dr. Altan Çakır’s Adin.ai, Prof. Dr. Zehra Çataltepe’s Tazi.ai, our graduates Murat Hacısalihoğlu’s B2Metric, Mert Menekşe and Arman Kayhan’s Co-One were deemed worthy of support by the Artificial Intelligence Factory Program. Thus, four of the eight startups accepted by the prestigious fund as a result of the 1st Cohort were startups founded by ITU members.
Supported artificial intelligence initiatives
Adin.ai uses artificial intelligence and blockchain technology in the planning, purchasing and optimization of advertising investments. Tazi.ai aims to make artificial intelligence accessible to everyone in sectors such as retail, healthcare, insurance, banking and telecom by making it possible to create, update, apply and process models with artificial learning. B2Metric specializes in customer movement forecasting and segmentation, risk scoring, predictive customer journey analysis, and management of campaign and price optimization processes. Co-one accelerates the process by sharing the data-related burden of artificial intelligence teams that work on vision and artificial intelligence and need to be trained with special data sets.
We congratulate our faculty members and graduates.
