Personnel Support from ITU to Disaster Area
Istanbul Technical University (ITU) provided personnel and supplies to contribute to the efforts for the earthquake victims. The humanitarian support team of 35 people sent from ITU will start working at the aid center established at Adıyaman University to heal the wounds of the earthquake.

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) continues to provide personnel and in-kind support to the earthquake area. A total of 35 ITU personnel, consisting of security guards, cooks and drivers, left for the disaster area on February 9th to support the relief efforts at Adıyaman University.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu and the ITU Family together sent off the support team consisting of our university employees. ITU humanitarian support team set off from the Rectorate Building on our Ayazağa Campus.

Our Rector wished success to the teams that set out to participate in search and rescue efforts in the earthquake area. Prof. Dr. Koyuncu said, “As the Technical University Family, we will continue to do our best to support the earthquake victims.”
The vehicle carrying the support team also contains various life and aid supplies.
