News: İTÜ Media and Communication Office

As Istanbul Technical University (ITU) celebrates its 250th anniversary, it is obtaining great success in scientific support programs with its efforts to provide its students with active learning and impact-oriented research skills. According to the results of the 2022/1 call for the 2209-A Research Project Support Programme for Undergraduate Students, carried out by TÜBİTAK Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes (BİDEB), 17 projects of ITU undergraduate students were deemed worthy of support.

The scientific program encourages undergraduate and associate degree students in our country to conduct research through projects. The projects supervised by our faculty members were developed by students from ITU Engineering, Science and Letters, and Architecture faculties. Different kinds of projects ranging from nanotechnology to fabric technology, from urban studies to autonomous vehicle design, from drug and biosensor synthesis to the production of new chemicals, including charging systems and electric vehicle studies, will be supported by TÜBİTAK BİDEB.

The projects of our students who were found successful and supported as a result of the 2022/1 call of TÜBİTAK 2209-A Research Project Support Programme for Undergraduate Students are listed below.

We congratulate all our students who are involved in the projects and our academics who supervise them and wish them success in their studies.
