ASELSAN Supports 4 ITU Projects

The results of the First Application Period of Seed Project Supports within ASELSAN Academy Postgraduate Education Program have been announced. 4 projects from Istanbul Technical University were entitled to receive support within the scope of the program.

The 1st Period Application Results of ASELSAN Academy Research - Seed Project Supports, which was put into effect in order to support research and development activities of master’s and doctoral thesis studies carried out within the scope of ASELSAN Academy Postgraduate Education Program, to expand the opportunities for thesis studies and to increase the added value created by these studies have been announced.

Project proposals submitted within the scope of the 2022 “ASELSAN Academy Postgraduate Education Program” were evaluated. As a result of the evaluation, 4 projects from Istanbul Technical University were entitled to receive support.

Within the scope of the project supports, contribution is made for expenditure items such as consumables, conference participation, machinery/equipment. In Seed Projects, master’s theses can receive support up to 44 thousand dollars and doctoral theses up to 50 thousand dollars. Projects determined within this scope can receive support from ASELSAN’s own resources in a fast and easily operable manner.

Projects supported within the scope of ASELSAN Academy Postgraduate Education Program are evaluated according to criteria such as their contribution to ASELSAN, their potential to contribute to scientific research, their convertibility into a product and their innovative aspect.
