ITU Wind Blew at TEKNOFEST

Istanbul Technical University was acclaimed for its successful projects and lively booth in TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival, held for the 4th time this year. While our teams who achieved the highest degrees in TEKNOFEST races received their awards from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, ITU’s booths met with intense interest of participants.

TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival, of which our university is among the academic partners, was held at Atatürk Airport on 21 September - 26 September under the leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the support of major institutions and companies of our country.

In the competitions held at TEKNOFEST, projects of ITU student teams were highly acclaimed. Our teams who achieved the highest degrees received their awards from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

TEKNOFEST excitement was also at ITU

Our University hosted Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition within the framework of TEKNOFEST. In the races that continued for four days, unmanned underwater systems designed by high school, associate degree, undergraduate and graduate students competed fiercely.

Intense interest to ITU’s booths

ITU’s booth at TEKNOFEST met with great interest. In the festival, where technology races also took place, the interesting and successful projects of the students exhibited in the tents set up in the field were appreciated by the participants. Our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu showed close interest in our teams who participated in the competitions and exhibited their projects at the ITU booth. Koyuncu had photos taken with our teams and wished our students success in the competitions.
