Support from TÜBİTAK National Leader Researchers Program to Projects of 4 İTÜ Faculty Members

Results of BİDEB 2247-A National Leader Researchers Program 2020 applications have been announced. Projects of our 4 faculty members were granted support.

2247-A National Leader Researchers Program 2020 applications were announced following the evaluation process. Within the framework of the program, projects by Faculty of Science and Letters, Chemistry Department faculty member Prof. Dr. Yusuf Yağcı, Eurasia Institute of Earth Sciences faculty members Prof. Dr. Hans Thybo and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ilıcak, and Faculty of Textile Technologies and Design, Department of Textile Engineering faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Atalay were granted support.

2247-A National Leader Researchers Program supports projects that target groundbreaking developments for our country in every field of science and technology, offer the opportunity to close major gaps in their field and give researchers a new perspective, and have the potential to make an important discovery and/or invention, as well as scientists located in Turkey, who will realize these projects.

42 out of 96 persons evaluated scientifically for BİDEB 2247-A National Leader Researchers Program 2020 call were found eligible for support.
