R&D Activities (Diagnostic kits, drug and vaccine studies)
a. CORONA TRACKING SYSTEM (KORTSİS)
Measurements of the fever meter device, which is mounted under the armpit to instantly measure the body temperature of individuals, are transferred to İTÜ Artificial Intelligence Application and Research Center systems (by adding time and location data). These data are created using artificial intelligence algorithms; Outputs such as risk map, resource analysis are presented within the scope of decision support system. İTÜ carries out this project in cooperation with T.C. Ministry of Industry and Technology, T.C. Ministry of Health, USHAŞ and the private sector.
b. Mediteks R&D Center - Production Technologies Ready for Industrialization
Aerospinner technology has been developed in nanofiber production, which is 30 times more effective than electropsinning. The production of a 150 cm wide NANOLIF PRODUCTION MACHINE with a daily production capacity of at least 30,000 FFP3 (protector) masks continues within the scope of the project (Design, Simulation and Manufacturing of a Solution-Blowing System for Nanofiber Production in Industrial Dimensions).
The air filter test plant is available at our university and provides testing services to MKEK, companies and universities in order to separate unsuitable products in the market.
