ITU Participated in the HYDRAGON Project as a Partner From Türkiye

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) will be the Turkish partner in the M-ERA.NET project titled “From Light to Energy: Synergetic Multifunctional Materials Driving Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Generation (HYDRAGON).

HYDRAGON Project, approved by M-ERA-NET, will have €1,646,000 total budget and will be managed by IMDEA (Spain) with partners from Türkiye (ITU), Czechia (CU) and Korea (KIST, JNU, SAMWHAN).  Project will work on material and PEC/Tandem cell development for photoelectrochemical hydrogen production.

Assoc. Prof. M. Suha Yazıcı from ITU Energy Institute will coordinate Turkish part with researchers from ITU Energy Institute and ITU Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
